Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her exceptional roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her, among them an Oscar. Her acting career began in Broadway through a myriad of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. As a child, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth year play. The mumps that she contracted left her blind and deaf in one ear, but she refused to let that to stop her from becoming an actress. After studying drama in college and moving into New York City with her goals to achieve them. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. As she relocated from New York to Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land films to play. The role of a supporting actress was found for her in Swing Shift. She has since appeared in many shows and TV films in a long career that spans more than 30 years. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
